Cancellation Policy

MoveSmart connects customers with independent moving professionals.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled move are not subject to a cancellation fee.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move are subject to a $70 cancellation fee.

Of that fee, $50 is paid to the scheduled moving provider and $20 is retained by MoveSmart.

If the moving provider cancels or fails to appear for the scheduled job, the customer will not be charged a cancellation fee.

Any payment authorization or captured amount associated with a provider cancellation or no-show will be released or refunded as applicable.
